On today’s episode

We are joined by Mike Bieker, the former CEO/Founder of Marketlab Inc. and current CEO of LumeCube. In 1994, having identified a need for a device to assist in the blood collection process, Mike launched Phlebotic, Inc. He grew the company to become a manufacturer of hundreds of unique specialty products for phlebotomy. Having identified yet another unmet need, Mike transformed his manufacturing company into a direct-mail catalog business, specializing in unique and hard-to-find products for healthcare professionals. In 1997 it grew handsomely year after year and landed on Inc. Magazine's list of the 500 fastest-growing companies in the United States. In 2011 and nearing $50 million in revenue, Mike sold a majority of the company and remains a minority shareholder and director, today. He has gone onto become the CEO of Evolve Skateboards USA and LumeCube.

In this episode…
